Marisa Pawelko Bling Blog Hop

Just like the Classic Color line, these rhinestone sticker sheets can be cut with scissors, a craft knife and a variety of die cutting machines!  This means you can cut these beautiful colors and patterns into any shape you want to create custom embellishments for your projects!

I have long been a fan of buckle boutique’s bling sheets. My favorite part is the super sticky backing.  It seriously sticks to anything!  So when they asked me to be a part of this blog hop, of course I said yet!

What a fun time I had playing with Marisa Pawelko, Modern Surrealists’ new Buckle Boutique Boudoir Quad Bling Sheets!!  I was assigned the task of making a Mixed Media piece with this fun 4 print sheet!  What a treat!!!!

so here is what I started with….

I love love love a good crafty challenge. Pulling stash and making something fun and meaningful is right up my alley.  My first thought was to make a box. Then as I walked around the Charity Wings Art & Craft Center, I saw the fun frame samples and I thought HOUSE!!  so here is my final project.  I took my” Vintage” Elsie Recipe Box that I had been planning to repurpose and covered it with the bling sheet. I love that they are self adhesive, so easy to cut and stick like a dream! The patterns all work together and lend themselves to happy times and easily add shine and sparkle to any project.

Then I added a cute door of popsicle sticks covered  in Duck Brand Duct Tape. When I cut the popsicle sticks I realized that they leftovers made a perfect chimney. Every house should have a chimney!

With the “recipes” inside, i pulled out 4 patterns and grabbed four photos of me and my favorite guy and made photo pages of building our life together. There is a lot of love in this house and I hope you “love” this little project as much as I do!
