“The word theatre comes from the Greeks. It means the seeing place.
It is the place people come to see the truth about life and the social situation.”
~Stella Adler
Join socially engaged artist and educator Carol Cabrera for a workshop exploring your own identity, your place in the social world that we live in and your capacity to imagine a new, different, magical, better world. This 10 week workshop will include an introduction to playwriting, explorations of issues that we are interested in, time to create your writing, and space for us to come together as a collective to celebrate and critique that writing. The workshop will conclude in a public reading of the work created by professional actors from the San Diego community.
